According to information released today, the window for adjusting domestic refined oil product prices will open at midnight tonight.

Monitoring data indicates that during the latest pricing cycle, international oil prices initially fell before subsequently rising. Effective from midnight, the prices for domestic gasoline and diesel will be reduced by 525 yuan and 505 yuan per ton, respectively.

On average nationwide, the retail prices for 92-octane gasoline, 95-octane gasoline, and 0-grade diesel will be lowered by 0.41 yuan, 0.44 yuan, and 0.43 yuan per liter, respectively.

For a typical consumer, filling a 50-liter tank with 92-octane gasoline will now cost approximately 20.5 yuan less. The logistics sector will also see reduced operating expenses.

For instance, a heavy-duty truck traveling 10,000 kilometers per month with a fuel consumption of 38 liters per 100 kilometers is expected to save around 763 yuan in fuel costs over the next half-month period.

Primary Market Influences

The evolution of tensions between the United States and Iran has been identified as the central factor influencing international oil price movements during this cycle.

Prices experienced volatility, declining before recovering, with the average price for this period ending lower than the previous cycle.

Market analysis suggests that the ongoing situation between the U.S. and Iran remains the core driver of oil price trends. Recent developments, including Iran pausing dialogue with the U.S. and plans to potentially block the Strait of Hormuz, coupled with U.S. statements about reaching a deal "within a week," have increased uncertainty.

This heightened uncertainty is expected to lead to amplified price fluctuations in the international oil market in the near term, warranting close attention to subsequent developments.
