On the first day of Alibaba's Tmall Global "Singles' Day" shopping festival, which kicked off at 8 PM on October 20, the Cainiao warehouse in Caofeidian Comprehensive Free Trade Zone processed over 90,000 orders within the first four hours and exceeded 120,000 orders in 12 hours—setting a new historical record.

As a key hub of the China (Tangshan) Cross-Border E-Commerce Pilot Zone, Caofeidian Comprehensive Free Trade Zone has developed a well-equipped industrial park by leveraging cross-border e-commerce headquarters, bonded warehouses, and Tangdu’s new retail model. The zone supports all major business models, including bonded inventory pre-positioning (1210), direct cross-border purchases (9610), B2B direct exports (9710), and overseas warehouse exports (9810). Major projects such as Cainiao (Tangshan) Central Warehouse, Cainiao Tmall Global Warehouse, Pinduoduo’s (Lelexiong) cross-border e-commerce operations, and Cainiao International Northern Cross-Border Base have been successively established here.

In the first three quarters of 2025, the zone’s cross-border e-commerce bonded inventory (1210) business recorded RMB 170 million in first-line imports and 4.02 million orders.

To ensure efficient customs clearance, Caofeidian Comprehensive Free Trade Zone collaborated with Caofeidian Customs and Caojin Control Group, holding preparatory meetings to address challenges related to power supply, network stability, system operations, logistics, staffing, and safety ahead of the Singles' Day rush.
