Alipay has officially introduced its AI open platform, following the launch of its full-stack AI payment products in May and the release of its new AI-powered version, nicknamed "A Bao," in June.
Through this platform, merchants can upgrade their services with AI capabilities with little to no coding required, integrating their service functions into "A Bao."
Additionally, they can connect to multiple endpoints via A Bao, including mobile AI assistants, smart vehicle systems, AI glasses, IoT devices, and third-party large language model applications, enabling a "one-time integration, multi-endpoint distribution, and unified management" model.
The platform is now open for invitation-based testing for enterprises and service providers.
Initial adopters include brands and institutions such as KFC, Mixue Bingcheng, Luckin Coffee, Amap's ride-hailing service, Didi, and Wansuishan Wuxia City, covering high-frequency scenarios in dining, transportation, culture and tourism, and daily services.
