China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited (China Longyuan) has finalized the placement of two equal tranches of 210-day ultra short-term debentures, raising a combined RMB3.00 billion. The issuances follow shareholder approval granted at the company’s 2025 annual general meeting on 29 April 2026.
The 16th tranche, underwritten by Shanghai Pudong Development Bank with Industrial Bank as joint lead, raised RMB1.50 billion. Priced at par (RMB100 face value) with a coupon of 1.35%, the notes were issued on 29 September 2026, carry an interest commencement date of 30 September 2026, and mature on 28 April 2027.
The 17th tranche, led by China Everbright Bank and jointly underwritten by China Bohai Bank, mirrored the 16th tranche in size, pricing, and tenor—raising another RMB1.50 billion at a 1.35% coupon. Issue, interest commencement, and maturity dates are identical to those of the 16th tranche.
Proceeds from both tranches are earmarked to refinance existing interest-bearing debt, augment working capital, enhance the overall debt structure, and reduce financing costs.
