On March 23, the 2026 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide for Greater China and overseas regions was launched in Singapore. Wei Wei, Vice President of Meituan and General Manager of the company's Local Commerce - Food Delivery Business Unit, stated that traveling for experiences is becoming a new lifestyle, with dining being the most perceptible and memorable aspect. Currently, Black Pearl is evolving alongside the actual travel patterns, consumption interests, and lifestyles of Chinese diners to better establish a trusted benchmark for fine dining. The newly released 2026 overseas Black Pearl list covers 135 restaurants across 7 cities, an 18.4% increase from last year, with Seoul being included as a listed city for the first time. Wei Wei emphasized that Black Pearl will continue to build a more reliable and personable bridge between Chinese diners and international restaurants, helping more high-quality global dining establishments gain visibility among Chinese consumers.
