The movement follows reports that the company plans a global launch for its IRON humanoid robot next year. According to sources, XPeng is aiming to boost the monthly production capacity of the IRON robot to over 1,000 units by the end of this year, laying the groundwork for a worldwide rollout in 2027. In the future, customers will be able to see these robots providing services such as sales guidance and product explanations in XPeng stores globally and other commercial settings.
The company's latest generation IRON humanoid robot, unveiled last November, has been promoted as the "most human-like humanoid robot."
In other developments, the company shared updates on its flying car business during the global launch event for the MONA L03 model. XPeng stated it has now established two major flying vehicle product lines, with plans to achieve mass production of its first flying car model by 2026. The company also revealed that cumulative orders for its flying cars have surpassed 7,000 units, positioning its order book among the largest globally in this emerging sector.
