据外电消息，知情人士透露，MiniMax正考虑在香港进行首次公开募股（IPO）。如果成功上市，这将成为一家估值约30亿美元的中国人工智能初创公司具有里程碑意义的行业首秀。
知情人士表示，这家被称为中国“AI Dragon”或“AI Tigers”（AI独角兽/巨头）之一的公司可能最快于今年上市。由于信息保密，这些人士要求匿名。他们称，这家总部位于上海的公司已为此次IPO聘请了财务顾问。
知情人士指出，相关审议仍在进行中，估值和时间表等细节仍可能发生变化。该公司没有回应置评请求。
MiniMax的IPO将使投资者有机会投资于推动人工智能技术发展的新一代中国企业。另一家公司智谱（Zhipu）也在筹备IPO。今年1月DeepSeek的出现激发了市场对这些初创企业的兴趣，这些公司目前正与大型科技公司竞争，以挑战像OpenAI这样的美国领导者。
MiniMax成立于2021年，去年在一轮融资中筹集了6亿美元，当时估值约为25亿美元。该轮融资由阿里巴巴领投，此前腾讯等也参与了早期融资。智谱同样获得了阿里巴巴和腾讯的支持。
MiniMax发布了一款名为M1的新型AI推理模型，称其比DeepSeek的最新模型更大且更节省资源。该公司还升级了支撑其视频编辑器“海螺AI”的文生视频模型。其他产品包括AI伴侣应用“Talkie”（筑梦岛），该应用与美国的Character.AI竞争。
