On November 17, most new consumer concept stocks in the Hong Kong market opened higher, with POP MART surging over 3%. Lao Feng Xiang Gold and Gu Ming rose more than 2%, while Buruke increased over 1%.

According to reports, Sony plans to develop a Labubu-themed movie. The film company finalized an agreement this week to adapt the viral toy into a feature-length film. The project has yet to assign a producer or director, as the deal was just signed. It remains unclear whether the potential film will be live-action or animated. Sony Pictures has not commented on the matter.
