MICROPORT (00853) has announced the formation of a Global Executive Committee as part of its ongoing global expansion. This move aims to establish a global coordination mechanism to enhance strategic execution efficiency and resource synergy. The Board of Directors has resolved to establish the committee and has appointed the following members: Mr. Jonathan W Chen, the company's Rotating Chief Executive Officer (effective April 1, 2026, subject to annual rotation and potential adjustments based on performance); Mr. Sun Hongbin, Chief Financial Officer; Dr. Brian Yale Chang, Chief Medical Officer; Mr. Benoit Clinchamps, Chief Overseas Operations Officer; Mr. Chen Guoming, Senior Vice President of Project & Knowledge Management and Technology Development; and Ms. Hui Qing, Senior Vice President of Organizational Capability. The Board believes that establishing the Global Executive Committee will further improve the efficiency of global business collaboration and management effectiveness, strengthen the Group's strategic execution capabilities, and align with the overall interests of the company and all shareholders. Effective April 1, 2026, Dr. Chang Zhaohua, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director, will no longer serve concurrently as Chief Executive Officer. He will continue to focus on formulating the Group's overall development strategy, building an integrated industrial ecosystem, and promoting cutting-edge technological innovation in his roles as Chairman of the Global Operation Steering Committee and Chief Scientific Officer, thereby ensuring the Group's sustainable development.
