The South Korean won climbed to its highest level against the U.S. dollar in over two weeks, tracking the strength of the Japanese yen as markets remained highly vigilant for potential intervention by Japanese authorities in the currency market.
The USD/KRW pair dropped by as much as 1.2% to 1,446.00, marking its lowest point since January 7.
