Bloom Energy Corp shares surged 12.03% in post-market trading, recovering sharply after the company reported second-quarter results that far exceeded Wall Street expectations and raised its full-year outlook.

The fuel-cell technology provider posted revenue of $1.07 billion, up 165.5% year-over-year and well above the analyst consensus of $826.1 million. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.78, nearly doubling the $0.41 estimate. Gross margin expanded to 33.4%, and the company swung to a GAAP profit from a loss a year earlier. CEO KR Sridhar attributed the performance to accelerating demand from AI data centers, noting that all major U.S. hyperscalers and over a dozen AI labs and colocation operators have approved Bloom’s power solutions for their AI factories.

Bloom Energy also raised its full-year 2026 guidance, now projecting revenue between $3.9 billion and $4.2 billion and adjusted EPS of $2.55 to $2.85, both significantly above analyst forecasts. The strong results and upbeat outlook reinforced the company’s position as a key beneficiary of the AI-driven power infrastructure buildout.
