Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. will convene its third extraordinary general meeting of 2026 at 10:30 a.m. on 28 August 2026 in Beijing.
The sole agenda item, to be decided by cumulative voting, is the election of Sun Yanwen as an executive director of the company’s 12th board. If approved, his term will run until the end of the current board’s mandate; he will receive no director’s fees, and his managerial compensation will follow existing remuneration policies.
Sun Yanwen, aged 57 and holding a bachelor’s degree, is currently the company’s deputy party secretary, general manager, board secretary, joint company secretary and chief compliance officer. His prior roles include senior finance positions at China Datang Corporation and directorships at Datang Huayin Electric Power and Guangxi Guiguan Electric Power. He holds no shares in Datang International and is free of regulatory sanctions.
Director Pang Xiaojin will step down upon the new appointment, citing a change in job assignment and expressing no disagreement with the board.
Shareholders of H shares registered by the close of business on 24 August 2026 (Hong Kong time) are entitled to attend and vote. The register of members will be closed from 25 August to 28 August 2026, inclusive. Proxy forms must reach Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited at Hopewell Centre no later than 24 hours before the meeting.
The on-site meeting is expected to last one hour, with attendees bearing their own travel and accommodation costs.
