Beida Jade Bird Issues Positive Profit Alert, Projects At Least RMB 65.00 Million Profit for H1 2026

Beijing Beida Jade Bird Universal Sci-Tech Company Limited (Beida Jade Bird) released a positive profit alert, indicating a turnaround to a profit of no less than RMB 65.00 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The company reported a restated loss of RMB 10.20 million for the same period in 2025.

Management attributes the swing to four primary factors:

1. Reversal of impairment: The recovery of outstanding consideration from the disposal of a former subsidiary led to a RMB 71.20 million reversal of impairment losses on trade and other receivables, a gain absent in the 2025 interim period.

2. Tax swing effect: A RMB 22.20 million income-tax credit benefitted the 2025 results but did not recur in 2026, partly offsetting the overall improvement.

3. Absence of associate disposal loss: The 2025 period included a RMB 22.10 million loss from the partial sale of associate Jade Bird Integrated Technologies Co., Ltd.; no comparable loss arose in 2026.

4. Absence of joint-venture disposal loss: A RMB 16.10 million loss from dissolving inactive joint ventures weighed on 2025 results, but no similar expense occurred in 2026.

The interim results remain subject to finalisation and auditor review. Beida Jade Bird plans to publish its full unaudited interim report on 28 August 2026. Shareholders and potential investors are urged to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
