Block将于7月23日开盘前纳入标普500指数，取代能源公司赫斯
美国金融科技公司Block将在7月23日开盘前被正式纳入标普500指数，取代近日被并购的能源公司赫斯。消息公布后，Block股价在周五盘后交易中涨超8%。
这是本周标普500指数成分股的第二次调整。此前，标普道琼斯指数公司宣布，广告科技公司The Trade Desk将取代被新思科技并购的软件制造商安斯科技，成为新成分股。
本次Block替代赫斯的变动，源于雪佛龙完成了对赫斯高达540亿美元的收购案，尽管其间曾与埃克森美孚就圭亚那离岸油田资产归属问题爆发法律争议，但最终雪佛龙顺利达成交易。
虽然多数指数调整都发生在季度再平衡期间，在重大并购交易完成时，标普500也会在非例行时点进行临时成分更换。例如，上周，Datadog取代了因被并购而退市的瞻博网络，成为该指数的一员。
Block的加入进一步强化了标普500在科技板块的权重。近年来，随着大型科技公司的市值不断膨胀，科技已成为该指数最具代表性的领域之一。Block原以“Square”品牌走红，凭借便捷的移动支付终端迅速崛起，近年来业务已拓展至加密货币、借贷及其他金融服务领域。
这家由Twitter联合创办人Jack Dorsey于2009年创立的公司，于2021年正式更名为Block，意在突出其对区块链技术的长期布局与发展愿景。
尽管Block今年股价仍下跌约14%，远逊于大盘表现，纳斯达克指数年内上涨逾8%，标普500上涨约7%，但Block当前约450亿美元的市值，仍远高于该指数成分股的中位水平。
