4月15日，港股航空股盘初全线上涨，中国东方航空股份、中国南方航空股份涨超6%，中国国航涨超5%，国泰航空涨超3%。
消息面上，美国总统特朗普在最新采访中表示，美国对伊朗的战争已经“结束”。受中东局势缓和影响，国际油价4月14日大幅下跌。截至当天收盘，WTI原油期货报每桶91.28美元，跌幅为7.87%；布伦特原油期货报每桶94.79美元，跌幅为4.6%。据悉，燃油成本是航司的第一大成本项。
长江证券发布研报称，随着燃油附加费征收落地，国内市场收益提升幅度超出预期。考虑国内航空煤油出厂价格同比上涨73.1%，拉动单位成本上涨26%，单位座收涨幅几乎完全覆盖油价上涨带来的成本端压力，第一周的数据表现超出预期。然而价格上涨对下游消费者仍然产生了负面的影响，部分航线提价不畅，航司选择停航拖累利用率。
