Goldman Sachs has issued a research report stating that MINTH GROUP's (00425) first-half EBIT performance met expectations. The investment bank has raised its net revenue forecasts for the group by 13% for 2025-2027 and increased its target price from HK$27.6 to HK$33.5. However, it has downgraded the stock's rating to "neutral."

The bank believes that MINTH GROUP's next phase of valuation rerating will depend on the global automotive demand outlook. Goldman Sachs expects that automotive demand in major markets will reach a peak, with growth projected to decelerate from 6% in 2023-2024 to 1% in 2025-2026, before declining by 2% in 2027-2028.

Consequently, the bank anticipates that MINTH GROUP's net profit growth will slow to 15% in 2025-2026 and further decline to 11% in 2027.
