TIANYE WATER (00840) announced that the group expects to record an estimated net loss of approximately RMB 15.499 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025, compared to a net profit of approximately RMB 13.857 million for the period ended June 30, 2024.
The expected net loss is primarily attributed to market environment changes and government policy adjustments during the current year, which significantly reduced the number of high-standard farmland construction projects. This led to a substantial decline in the company's PVC pipe product sales and a corresponding decrease in engineering business revenue, resulting in significantly lower overall gross profit margins for both engineering projects and product sales, ultimately causing the loss.
