Travelers should take note of a landslide risk warning issued for specific mountain road sections in Beijing.
The Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission has issued a hazard alert for mountain road slopes. From 2:00 PM on August 8 to 2:00 PM on August 9, localized sections of mountain roads in the Fangshan, Mentougou, Changping, Yanqing, Huairou, and Miyun districts face a risk of collapse and landslides from rock slopes. Authorities urge the public to take necessary precautions.
