阿姆斯特朗在CNBC于海湖庄园举行的世界自由论坛采访中表示：“人们会说，‘我认为没有任何实质性问题，但我认为其他人会这么想’，于是他们就会锁定收益，导致价格上下波动。”他补充说，当前的市场下跌可能是暂时的，并透露Coinbase已在价格低迷时回购股票并增持比特币。
“加密货币市场有时上涨，有时下跌，”他指出，“比特币仍然是过去十年中表现最佳的资产。我们尽量不对其采取短期视角。”
