May marks the sixth "Civil Code Promotion Month." To further enhance the legal governance of communities, resolve conflicts related to property services and neighborly relations at the source, and guide the public in safeguarding their rights in accordance with the law, the Wuan Court in Handan recently organized legal personnel to conduct a legal awareness campaign in the Minghu Community. Over 30 participants, including community staff, property company representatives, and community residents, attended the event.

At the event, Zhang Fei, head of the Wuan Court's expedited adjudication team, served as the keynote speaker. Focusing on the core content of the property service contract chapter in the Civil Code, Zhang combined typical cases of property and neighborhood disputes frequently encountered in judicial practice to explain relevant legal provisions in plain language. The presentation highlighted common legal issues such as the fulfillment of property service contracts, the rights and obligations of property owners and service providers, community public revenue, property fee payments, and handling neighborly infringements. It analyzed the common causes of property and neighborhood disputes one by one, clarifying the boundaries of behavior for all parties involved. This approach not only guides property companies to provide standardized services and perform their duties in accordance with the law but also educates residents on safeguarding their rights rationally and adhering to contractual obligations, integrating legal provisions into daily life and guiding grassroots practices.

After the presentation, attendees consulted on legal issues related to property and neighborly relations encountered in their daily lives. Court staff listened patiently, provided detailed answers, clarified legal relationships, and offered professional advice to address the practical concerns of the community. Community staff participating in the event noted that the campaign not only popularized legal knowledge but also provided professional insights for handling various disputes in the community. Residents and property staff also praised the event, stating that it not only enhanced their understanding of the law but also established a convenient channel for resolving future property and neighborhood disputes efficiently.

Actively integrating into grassroots governance is a key initiative for people's courts to practice judicial service for the public and effectively prevent and reduce grassroots conflicts at the source. Moving forward, Wuan Court will continue to extend the reach of judicial services, improve long-term mechanisms for collaborative dispute resolution between the court and communities, and precisely align grassroots governance with the judicial needs of the public, providing solid judicial support for building a collaborative, participatory, and shared grassroots governance framework.
