BIDU-SW (09888) surged over 4% in early trading, reaching HK$123.2 with a turnover of HK$241 million. The rally follows Apollo Go's latest operational data, highlighting its global scale and safety achievements. As of October 31, the platform achieved a milestone of 250,000 weekly orders—all completed by fully autonomous vehicles—signaling a new phase in commercialized driverless technology.

Cumulatively, Apollo Go has served over 17 million orders, with autonomous vehicles logging 240 million kilometers traveled. Fully driverless operations accounted for 58% of this distance (140 million km), demonstrating robust safety performance.

The service now operates across 22 cities worldwide, including Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, and Shenzhen domestically, alongside international hubs like Hong Kong, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. To adapt to diverse urban environments, Apollo Go employs localized solutions: right-hand-drive vehicles and narrow-road algorithms in Hong Kong, enhanced sensor protection for desert climates in Dubai, and specialized decision-making for river-crossing bridges in Wuhan. This blend of standardization and localization offers a replicable blueprint for autonomous driving commercialization.
