Data released by the Xinhua Oil Price System on February 3 showed that the average price change rate for a basket of crude oils was 4.98% on February 2.
According to the "Oil Price Management Measures," domestic gasoline and diesel prices are adjusted every 10 working days based on changes in international crude oil prices, with the new prices taking effect at 24:00 on the day the adjustment is announced.
When the price adjustment amount is less than 50 yuan per ton, no adjustment is made; the amount is instead carried over to be added or offset in the next pricing cycle.
Under special circumstances specified in the measures, price adjustments can be suspended, delayed, or implemented with a smaller adjustment range.
February 3 marks the tenth working day of the current pricing cycle, and the price adjustment window will open at 24:00 today.
Domestic gasoline and diesel prices are expected to be raised in this cycle, with an estimated increase of about 200 yuan per ton.
