The emerging market currency index extended its gains, reaching its highest level of the day, after U.S. President Donald Trump posted that he would head to the White House Situation Room immediately to make a final decision regarding Iran.
Following these comments from Trump, the MSCI Emerging Markets Currency Index rose by as much as 0.2%.
