China Telecom and Alibaba Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement: Deep Collaboration in Cloud and AI Infrastructure

On the afternoon of August 31st, China Telecom and Alibaba held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Hangzhou. The signing was witnessed by China Telecom Chairman Ke Ruiwen, Alibaba Group CEO Wu Yongming, China Telecom Vice President Tang Ke, and Alibaba Group Vice President Li Jin. The agreement was signed on behalf of both parties by China Telecom Assistant General Manager Hu Zhiqiang and Alibaba Group Vice President Xiang Huangmei.

According to the agreement, both parties will engage in deep cooperation in areas including cloud and AI infrastructure, new service e-commerce, and social value innovation. The two companies will also focus on key industries to jointly create integrated digital and AI application solutions, and leverage their global service capabilities to jointly serve Chinese enterprises expanding overseas.
