The Finnish telecommunications equipment maker announced it is significantly expanding its collaborations with TIM Brasil and Deutsche Telekom. The deal with TIM Brasil involves modernizing the Brazilian operator's 5G network across 14 additional states, covering approximately 42% of the country's population, and preparing the infrastructure for future AI-driven services using NVIDIA's AI-RAN platforms.

Simultaneously, Nokia and Deutsche Telekom have expanded their strategic collaboration to accelerate the development of cloud-based, disaggregated, and AI-native radio access network (RAN) technologies. This partnership aims to create the foundation for programmable, automated mobile networks better optimized for future connectivity demands as AI reshapes the telecommunications industry.
