Wai Chun Group settles litigation with HK$4.19 million payment; High Court appeal and hearings to be vacated

Hong Kong – Wai Chun Group Holdings Limited announced that it has reached a global settlement with the plaintiff in ongoing High Court proceedings. On 30 April 2026, the company and the second defendant jointly paid HK$4.19 million to the plaintiff.

A consent summons, signed by legal representatives of both parties, seeks the High Court’s approval to: 1. Dismiss the appeal against the earlier judgment and the summons to adduce new evidence. 2. Vacate the scheduled hearings on 11 June 2026 and 5 August 2026.

The consent summons has already been filed with the High Court. Wai Chun Group will issue a further announcement once the court order is received.

The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when trading the company’s shares. As of the announcement date, the board comprises one executive director and three independent non-executive directors.
