美国达乐公司持续吸引更多高收入消费者光顾其门店。首席执行官托德·瓦索斯在与分析师的电话会议中表示:“所有收入阶层的顾客都越来越强调购物时寻求性价比的重要性。我们正通过提升各收入水平家庭渗透率来满足这一需求。”这家折扣零售商提供超过2000款定价1美元及以下的商品,瓦索斯指出这些商品精准切中了消费者的需求。他特别提到,由500多款轮换商品组成的“超值山谷”专区所有商品均定价1美元,在第四季度实现同店销售额增长近18%,远超该连锁企业整体4.3%的同店销售增幅。尽管第四季度盈利和销售额均超预期,美国达乐公司股价在早盘交易中仍下跌9%。
