Sichuan Expressway Co Ltd (HKEX: 00107) has announced a proposal from its board of directors to change the company's official names.
The board recommends altering the Chinese name from "Sichuan Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway Co., Ltd." to "Sichuan Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway Group Co., Ltd.".
Correspondingly, the English name is proposed to change from "SICHUAN EXPRESSWAY COMPANY LIMITED" to "SICHUAN EXPRESSWAY GROUP COMPANY LIMITED".
It is important to note that both the Chinese and English stock ticker symbols for the company will remain unchanged following this proposed rebranding.
