On September 16, the election day for the People's Congress deputies of Xian'an District, municipal leaders including Party Secretary Zhou Feng and Mayor Yang Jun visited their respective designated electoral precincts to cast their ballots for the seventh People's Congress deputies of Xian'an District. This action underscored their commitment to exercising the democratic rights granted by the Constitution and the Electoral Law, and served as a practical demonstration of whole-process people's democracy in action.

Party Group Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress Zhu Qinggang, as well as Party Group Secretary and Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Liang Xilin, also participated in the voting at their respective electoral precincts.

At the first voting station of the first electoral precinct in Wenquan Subdistrict, the atmosphere was solemn and vibrant, with voting procedures carried out orderly in accordance with the established requirements. Zhou Feng arrived at the polling station, listened to explanations regarding the election procedures, reviewed the candidate profiles, and filled out his ballot before solemnly depositing it into the ballot box.

On the same day, Yang Jun cast his vote at the first voting station of the second electoral precinct in Wenquan Subdistrict. Other leaders from the four major municipal bodies also participated in the election voting at their respective precincts.

The People's Congress system serves as the fundamental political system of our country, and the lawful exercise of the rights to vote and stand for election constitutes a vital manifestation of the people's role as masters of the state. Since the commencement of the electoral transition, our city has resolutely implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, along with the work requirements of the provincial and municipal party committees.
