Bay Area Dev appoints Shandong Hi-Speed veteran Yu Hao as Non-Executive Director

Bay Area Dev (Shenzhen Investment Holdings Bay Area Development Company Limited) has named Yu Hao, 51, as a non-executive director, effective 13 July 2026.

Yu Hao brings nearly 30 years of experience in the expressway sector. Key roles include:

• General Manager, Hunan Hengshao Expressway Company Limited (Jun 2013–Jun 2016) – led overall operations and management.

• Head of Board Secretariat, Shandong Hi-Speed Company Limited (Jun 2016–Dec 2018).

• Chairman & General Manager, Shandong Hi-Speed Investment Development Company Limited (Dec 2018–present), a wholly owned unit of Shanghai-listed Shandong Hi-Speed (600350).

Qualifications: Master of Professional Accounting from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (2009); Senior Accountant in the PRC.

Shandong Hi-Speed indirectly holds 290.00 million shares of Bay Area Dev, equal to 8.70% of the issued share capital.

Governance terms: Yu Hao has signed a letter of appointment with no fixed tenure; he will retire and be eligible for re-election at annual general meetings. In line with the director fee structure approved on 24 June 2026, he will not receive director’s fees in his new role.

The board now comprises three executive directors, three non-executive directors (including Yu Hao), and three independent non-executive directors.
