Nintendo Q2 Operating Profit Beats Expectations as Switch 2 Sales Reach 5.82 Million Units

Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced on Friday that its second-quarter operating profit rose 4% to 56.9 billion yen (approximately $378 million), surpassing market expectations.

The Kyoto-based gaming company reported that Switch 2 sales reached 5.82 million units during the quarter. The Switch 2 was launched on June 5.

The company maintained its full-year Switch 2 sales forecast unchanged at 15 million units.
