On July 6th, it was learned that the People's Procuratorates of Hohhot and Baotou, in conjunction with their respective public security bureaus and market supervision administrations, have jointly issued the "Hohhot-Baotou Intellectual Property Case Rights Holder Directory".

This directory is designed to systematically consolidate previously scattered information resources, effectively tackle the challenges and difficulties in handling cross-regional intellectual property cases, and provide clear guidance for rights holders to substantively participate in litigation.

The document systematically organizes core trademark resources from both cities, encompassing a total of 567 trademark entries related to 95 rights holders. It details crucial legal information such as trademark registration certificate numbers, approved categories of goods, registration dates, and validity periods, while also integrating contact details and addresses of the rights holders.

By leveraging this standardized and regulated directory, the initiative aims to establish channels for information sharing, clue exchange, and collaborative case handling between the relevant departments in the two cities. It offers a new approach to solving persistent issues in cross-regional IP cases, such as slow coordination, difficulties in rights enforcement, and uneven protection levels.

The joint issuance of this directory across regions and departments represents a practical step by Hohhot and Baotou to innovate their comprehensive intellectual property protection mechanisms.
