Weilong Delicious Global Holdings Ltd (Stock Code: 9985) has announced the appointment of Mr. Wei Zhe as a non-executive director, effective from the conclusion of the board meeting on 6 February 2026. Mr. Wei’s initial term is three years, and he may terminate his service contract with three months’ written notice. Under the current arrangements, Mr. Wei is entitled to an annual salary of HKD600,000.

Mr. Wei, aged 55, is the founding partner and chairman of Vision Knight Capital. His previous roles include chief executive officer of Alibaba.com Limited from 2007 to 2011, where he also served as an executive director, and chief financial officer of B&Q (China) Co., Ltd. from 2000 to 2002. He has held various board positions in companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and NASDAQ. According to the announcement, Mr. Wei’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in international business management from Shanghai International Studies University and completion of a corporate finance course at London Business School.

The appointment process follows the company’s articles of association, under which Mr. Wei will hold office until the first annual general meeting following his appointment, and thereafter be subject to retirement by rotation at least once every three years. The board of directors has extended a warm welcome to Mr. Wei’s joining.
