CHINA TAIPING Reports First Half Shareholders' Attributable Profit of HK$6.764 Billion, Up 12.2% Year-on-Year

CHINA TAIPING announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. According to the financial data, shareholders' attributable profit reached HK$6.764 billion in the first half of 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 12.2%. Insurance service revenue totaled HK$55.964 billion, marking a slight rise of 0.2% compared to the same period last year.

The company's total equity stood at HK$136.434 billion, up 11.5% from the end of the previous year. Equity attributable to ordinary shareholders amounted to HK$74.238 billion, reflecting a 4.4% increase from year-end levels. Additionally, the total embedded value reached HK$255.077 billion, demonstrating an 8.9% year-on-year growth.
