A-share major indices continued their decline on the morning of October 9, with the ChiNext Index extending losses to 2.91% and the STAR Composite Index dropping 3.71%. AI hardware stocks such as PCB and CPO led the downturn.
CPO concept stocks suffered sharp declines, with the "Yizhongtian" trio falling collectively. ZJ INNOLIGHT (ASX: 03308) plunged sharply in A-shares, dropping over 4% to a latest market value of 885.9 billion yuan; its Hong Kong-listed shares widened losses to 6%.
Guoci Materials fell 11.88%, Fenghua Advanced Technology dropped 9.4%, while Sanhuan Group, Shengyi Technology, Nanya New Material, Defu Technology, and Shenzhen Technology all declined more than 7%.
PCB concept stocks weakened in tandem, with Jin'an Guojie and Huazheng New Material hitting the limit down, Boyang Optoelectronics falling over 10%, Dingtai High-Tech plunging more than 8%, and stocks like Minbao Optoelectronics and Chenghe Technology also declining simultaneously.
