国际原油期货进一步扩大跌幅，此前美国能源信息署（EIA）公布的数据显示，上周原油及成品油库存全面增加。原油库存激增360万桶，而此前《华尔街日报》调查的平均预期为减少50万桶。汽油库存增加600万桶，为连续第十周攀升；馏分油库存也上涨330万桶。
受此影响，西德克萨斯中质原油（WTI）价格下跌2.1%，报每桶59.32美元。纽约商业交易所（Nymex）柴油期货下挫2.1%，至每加仑2.3794美元；汽油期货下跌2.6%，报每加仑1.8091美元。
