Hang Seng Index Opens 0.95% Higher, Tech Index Gains 0.46%

U.S. stocks continued their upward trend on Wednesday, with a broad rebound in technology shares lifting the market. All three major indices closed higher. The U.S. dollar weakened, while the yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose back to around 4.05%. Gold prices stabilized with some volatility, and oil prices declined.

Hong Kong's three major indices opened higher today. The Hang Seng Index started up 0.95% at 27,019.74 points, the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 0.46%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 0.49%.

In market movements, most technology and internet stocks advanced. Lenovo Group and Tencent Holdings each rose over 1%, while NetEase fell more than 1%. Domestic property stocks were active, with Yuexiu Property gaining over 2%. Some lithium battery sector stocks opened higher, with Tianqi Lithium Corporation up more than 6%. Automobile stocks showed a mixed performance: BYD Company rose nearly 1%, while Xifeng Group declined over 1%.
