The group's wholly-owned subsidiary, Lechang Green Power Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., has now successfully obtained the "Guangdong Province Enterprise Investment Project Filing Certificate" for its second-phase project of the same scale.
The "Shaoguan City Lechang 218MW/436MWh Electrochemical Independent Energy Storage Project (Phase II)" was officially filed with the Lechang Development and Reform Bureau on May 27, 2026.
The Phase II project is located in Hefeng Village, Pingshi Town, Lechang City, Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, China, and is planned at the same site as the Phase I project, constituting an independent initiative.
It has a construction scale of 218MW/436MWh and will utilize an outdoor containerized energy storage system based on the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry.
The primary function of the Phase II project will be to absorb renewable energy from the regional power grid, while also participating in grid ancillary services such as peak shaving and frequency regulation to ensure the safe and economical operation of the power network.
The successful filing of this second-phase project signifies that the group's total potential scale for large-scale independent energy storage power stations in the northern Guangdong region can now reach 436MW/872MWh.
