粤海投资（股票代码：00270）公告称，董事会已获授一般及无条件授权，可于适用法例及香港联合交易所有限公司上市规则允许的期限内，购回不超过公司于决议案通过当日已发行股份总数10%的股份。截至2026年4月16日，公司已发行股份数为6,537,821,440股，按此计算最高可购回约6.54亿股。
公告显示，资金来源将依据公司组织章程细则及有关法律法规的规定，可动用公司可合法用于股份购回的内部资源。董事会认为，适时回购股份有助于提升股东回报并改善资本结构，符合公司及股东的整体最佳利益。
公司强调，只有在购回行为有利于整体股东利益的情况下才会执行该授权。该议案尚待股东周年大会审议表决，会议定于2026年6月18日举行。根据公告安排，6月12日为股东登记日，登记在册股东可于大会上就该事项进行表决。
