YHI International Limited said on Apr, 23 2026 that Italian rim maker O.Z. S.p.A, in which it holds a stake, manufactures only about 5% to 10% of its total wheel sales volume in Italy, with the remainder outsourced to contract manufacturers such as YHI Manufacturing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

The company also broke down the previously disclosed 12 million Singapore dollars loss from wheel operations outside Malaysia. About 8 million Singapore dollars stemmed from retrenchment expenses, 2.8 million Singapore dollars from other closure‐related costs—including asset disposals and facility restoration—and the remaining 1.2 million Singapore dollars represented the underlying operating loss.

The clarifications were issued in response to shareholder queries ahead of YHI International’s annual general meeting scheduled for Apr, 29 2026.
