Zhejiang Yiwu Launches ZIM E-Commerce Sea-Rail Intermodal Service

On February 3rd, the inaugural "Yiwu Suxi - Ningbo Zhoushan Port" ZIM e-commerce sea-rail intermodal freight train commenced its journey. The special train, loaded with 100 TEUs of cross-border e-commerce goods, departed from the Zhejiang Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port bound for the Beilun Port Station of the Ningbo Zhoushan Port railway.
Subsequently, the cargo will be transferred to the ZIM shipping company's ZX2 e-commerce express container liner service for transport to the Port of Los Angeles in the United States. This service is set to become the fastest sea-rail intermodal logistics model currently available for China-US cross-border e-commerce trade.
