Morgan Stanley Capital Services Discloses Offset Derivative Trades in ENN Energy During Privatisation Process

26 May 2026—ENN Energy Holdings Limited (ENN) announced that Morgan Stanley Capital Services LLC (MSCS), classified as a Class (5) associate connected to the offeror in ENN’s proposed privatisation by scheme of arrangement, filed dealings in ENN’s shares under Rule 22 of Hong Kong’s Takeovers Code.

MSCS executed 14 same-day derivative transactions on 22 May 2026, all recorded as “other types of products” for unsolicited client facilitation. Seven purchases totalling 6,600 reference shares were exactly matched by seven sales of 6,600 reference shares, resulting in a zero net position at day-end.

• Aggregate notional value purchased: USD 0.38 million • Aggregate notional value sold: USD 0.38 million • Individual contract sizes ranged from 100 to 2,700 reference shares, with reference prices between USD 57.84 and USD 59.10 per share. • Contract maturities span 30 September 2026 to 29 October 2027.

MSCS confirmed the trades were conducted for its own account; no agreements or understandings with other parties were disclosed, and the resultant balance in ENN-linked derivatives stood at zero.
