得益于海外数据中心对发电机组需求的激增，康明斯公司上调了本年度的销售预期。
这家发动机制造商透露，其在中国市场的发电设备销售额在第一季度同比大幅增长84%。康明斯目前预计，其在中国市场（该公司同时销售卡车发动机）的全年营收将增长10%，这完全扭转了其早前对2026年营收下降1%的预测。
首席财务官马克·史密斯在与分析师的电话会议中表示：“当前，中国市场无疑是一股顺风而非逆风。那里对数据中心的投资热情非常高涨。”
康明斯的发电机为数据中心提供备用电力，这些设施绝不能容忍电力中断。去年，该公司已将用于发电机组的大型发动机产能提升了一倍。第一季度，康明斯电力业务的营收较去年同期增长了19%。
