On 1 June 2026, Peijia Medical Limited (Peijia Medical) disclosed that its subsidiary, Shanghai Achieva Medical Suzhou Co., Ltd., has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with B. Braun Medical (Shanghai) International Trading Co., Ltd. The arrangement grants Achieva Medical sole distribution rights in mainland China for the SeQuent® Please CIS Paclitaxel Drug-Coated Intracranial Balloon Dilatation Catheter.

SeQuent® Please CIS leverages B. Braun’s established drug-coated balloon technology. During target-lesion dilation, the device releases paclitaxel directly onto the vascular wall to limit neointimal hyperplasia and reduce the risk of restenosis. Tailored for the narrow, tortuous anatomy of intracranial vessels, the catheter is positioned as an “implant-free” solution for intracranial vascular disease. A registration application has already been filed with China’s National Medical Products Administration.

The partnership broadens Peijia Medical’s neurointerventional product portfolio and strengthens the group’s positioning in innovative intracranial intervention solutions. Achieva Medical intends to leverage its domestic commercialization network and academic-promotion capabilities to accelerate clinical adoption once regulatory clearance is obtained.

The transaction is neither a notifiable nor a connected transaction under Chapters 14 and 14A of the Hong Kong Listing Rules. B. Braun Medical and its ultimate beneficial owners are confirmed as independent third parties.
