CHINA POWER (2380.HK) Announces Directorate and Board Committee Changes

China Power International Development Limited (Stock Code: 2380) announced that Executive Director and President Gao Ping resigned from all positions effective October 30, 2025. Gao Ping also stepped down from the Company’s Risk Management Committee, Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee, and Executive Committee.

Meanwhile, Zhao Yonggang, aged 52, has been appointed as the new Executive Director and President, succeeding Gao Ping. Zhao also replaces Gao as a member of the three aforementioned committees, effective the same date. According to the announcement, Zhao is a senior engineer with a master’s degree in engineering project management from Changsha University of Science & Technology. He currently serves as a director and general manager of China Power International Holding Limited and as chairman of National Bio Energy Group Co., Ltd.

Zhao’s total pre-tax basic annual salary amounts to RMB400,000, plus additional allowances, discretionary performance-related annual bonus, and tenure incentives. He reports and is accountable to the Board in his new capacity, overseeing day-to-day operations and implementing strategies set forth by the Board.

The Board expressed gratitude for Gao Ping’s contributions and extended its warmest welcome to Zhao Yonggang for joining the Board, noting his extensive industry experience and familiarity with the business.
