Former China Mobile General Manager He Biao Appointed as Deputy Director of National Radio and Television Administration

He Biao, former director, general manager, and deputy party secretary of China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., has been appointed as deputy director and party member of the National Radio and Television Administration, according to information released on the administration's official website on February 11.

On February 10, it was noted that He Biao no longer appeared in the list of leadership members on China Mobile's official website. Public records indicate that He Biao previously served as party secretary and general manager of China Unicom's Maoming branch in Guangdong Province, general manager of the human resources department of the Guangdong branch, and party secretary and general manager of the Guangzhou branch.

He also held positions as party committee member and deputy general manager of China Unicom's Guangdong branch, deputy party secretary and general manager of the Guangdong branch, and party secretary and general manager of China Unicom's Guangdong branch, concurrently serving as chairman of Unicom (Guangdong) Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. and senior vice president of China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd.

From May 2020 to March 2024, He Biao served as deputy general manager and party committee member of China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd. In March 2024, he was appointed as director, general manager, and deputy party secretary of China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd.
