脑洞科技（股票代码：02203）公告称，将于5月21日召开股东周年大会，审议向董事会授出一般性授权，允许在香港联交所或其他获认可交易所购回公司股份，规模上限相当于已发行股本的10%。截至公告披露时，公司已发行合共8亿股股份，此次购回授权最高可覆盖8,000万股。
脑洞科技表示，本次购回的资金来源将根据开曼群岛公司法以及其他适用法规所允许的资金安排，不会对公司的营运资金及资本负债状况造成重大不利影响。公司认为，购回股份有助于提升股东回报，并可在适当情况下提升每股价值，符合公司及股东的整体最佳利益。
公司董事会同时建议股东于5月21日股东周年大会上表决该购回方案，有关登记过户手续将于5月18日至5月21日期间暂停办理。董事会称，若授权获通过，公司可在适当市况下择机购回股份，以期优化资本结构并提升股东价值。公司呼吁股东留意大会日期并遵守登记过户安排。董事会强调，所有购回交易将根据适用法规及上市规则进行。
