According to data released by the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Statistics, the city is projected to achieve total retail sales of consumer goods amounting to 3.49 billion yuan during the Spring Festival holiday period, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 2.6%. Notably, sales at duty-free shops on the island reached 1.206 billion yuan during the same period, marking a growth of 12.7% compared to the previous year.
