According to the latest official announcement, since the domestic refined oil product price adjustment on September 11, the geopolitical situation in the Middle East has remained complex and volatile. International crude oil prices surged rapidly before retreating, and have recently climbed higher once again.
To mitigate the impact of rising international oil prices on the domestic market, the government continues to implement temporary control measures on domestic refined oil product prices. Based on the current pricing mechanism, from 24:00 on September 24, the price per ton of domestic gasoline and diesel (standard products) should increase by 830 yuan and 800 yuan respectively. However, after adjustment and control, the actual increases are set at 395 yuan and 385 yuan respectively.
The National Development and Reform Commission will guide refined oil production and sales enterprises to fully ensure production and transportation, guaranteeing stable market supply. It will also cooperate with relevant departments to strengthen market supervision and inspection, strictly penalize illegal activities such as failure to implement national pricing policies, effectively maintain market order, and protect consumer interests.
