Add New Energy Investment (02623) Announces 1-for-2 Rights Issue to Raise HK$504.4 Million

Add New Energy Investment Holdings Group Limited (Stock Code: 02623) has announced a proposed rights issue on the basis of one rights share for every two existing shares. The subscription price is set at HK$2.88 per rights share, aiming to raise gross proceeds of around HK$504.4 million. Net proceeds (after expenses) stand at approximately HK$503.4 million, intended mainly for acquisition or investment opportunities and to supplement working capital.

According to the announcement, the register of members will be closed from 27 February 2026 to 5 March 2026 to determine shareholders’ entitlements. Shareholders with addresses registered outside Hong Kong may be considered Excluded Shareholders depending on local regulatory requirements. Subject to final approval by the Stock Exchange, nil-paid rights shares are expected to begin trading on 10 March 2026. The company emphasizes that completion of the rights issue depends on certain conditions being fulfilled; if those are not met, the rights issue will not proceed.
